Hello,

I am going through this web site.

Just a sugession.

Many OpenSolaris distro's are working closely with OSUNIX I beleive.

Is there any possibility to see central update manager for all distro's? [ Like Belenix,Schillix,Nexenta ]

It can be a good option to divert Linux users.

Being a Windows/Linux/Unix/Mac OS users I found where users are stuck is at updating.

Steam line of windows is pretty stable.

Shall we expect to see replica's of pkg update manager for open unix flavours?

It can be very helpful to patch OS quickly. I found most time I spend time in finding right package for my distro. And most links are expired after certain period of time.

Any1 would like to talk/share ideas?

I just joined this cool forum some mins ago. Ofcourse I am not a spammer but eager to ask many questions.

Okies. Hopefully you all use that 700 mb UBUNTU disk ? They did that small enhancement which makes us to be able to instal UBUNTU inside any windows drive which is fabulous from aspect of an beginner.

How can I boot my UNIX distro inside Windows?

I am using Belenix 0.7.1 .

I want to make it happen the 1st ever UNIX flavour which can get installed inside Windows drive.

Any suggesions,clue?

I am not a developer so pls dont ask me to edit kernel

Any1 had problem while installing Solaris 10 2009 June edition in virtual box?

I tried to get help from virtualbox forum but no 1 had got sucess or were able to simulate the problem. But some users reported same problem.

Any1 can help here? This is the last stop of mine to get help from.

Problem is it's not accepting keyboard at "Select Language" stage.

bugs.osunix.org says "NetSyncro.com Inc" on its home page. Is it by design or just a mismatched identity ?

Also I wanted to file this issue on bugs.osunix.org itself, but there seems to be no projects defined at this moment, so the tool is, essentially, useless.

Another thing - it looks like it is running on evaluation license, which, I believe, is l imited to 30 days. What will happen than ?

Being a Windows mobile user I am always been a fan of upcoming gadgets.

I read lot of things about Google Android.

Just curious to know if any embaded developement is going in Unix world to run Solaris in Android or in BlackBerry?

All knows back end servers at BlackBerry are Sparc,Unix server. Waiting to see embaded OpenSolaris in handhelds.
